With Sarf (Arabic Morphology) being essential for a deeper understanding of the subtleties of the Arabic language, it is a mandatory subject for any student wanting to become a scholar. This intermediary class will focus on the study of verb roots and common word patterns, realising their powerful effects on the meanings of words.

The course will also be complemented with a thorough study of Imam al-Nawawi's 40 Hadith, a fascinating collection of Prophetic narrations collectively considered to focus on the core components of Islam.

Carefully assimilated by renowned subject experts rooted in classical Islamic academic rigour, this 28-week course spans five terms (five weeks per term), with two weeks of exams at the end of each term.
